Union Star R-II students and staff were proud to honor our local veterans this morning during the 2025 Veterans Day Ceremony, held in the gymnasium. Our honored guests joined us for breakfast, followed by our program that recognized area veterans. The program included multiple performances by the 7-12 Trojan Band, as well as a vocal number performed by our elementary students.
Special thanks to American Legion Post #287 out of Savannah for sending Legionnaires, who demonstrated the Flag Folding Ceremony to our students and staff. We also thank our veterans and their families for attending.
