Junior High girls & boys basketball camp May 27-29, 9:00-11:00.

Any student who has signed up for the King City- June 14th ACT that have been reassigned to a different site, please call ACT at 319-337-1270 to request to be reassigned to King City.


The district semifinal game is postponed until Tuesday night. The game will be played at 6:00pm and the bus will leave King City at 3:30pm.

Commencement: Sunday, May 18th at 2pm. Congratulations Class of 2025!
7-12 Band students need to be at school by 1:40pm.

Izzie Hodge plans to enter the workforce. Izzie has accepted a position at Altec.


Faith Wardlow plans to take a year off before attending Missouri Western. Faith wants to become NICU nurse.


Shea Simerly attended Hillyard Technical Center for the Carpentry Program. He plans to work at DCM.


Kaitlyn Miller plans to attend North Central Missouri College (NCMC) in Savannah, MO to become a registered nurse (RN). She will complete their PN program, and then ADN program. Kaitlyn plans to work at a hospital as a labor and delivery nurse.


Carter Jackson plans to attend Missouri Western State University to study Exercise Science. Carter plans to also find a Coaching Position.


Carter Hodge has attended Hillyard Technical Center in St. Joseph, MO for the last 2 years for Precision Machining. He will attend Southeast Community College in Milford, NE. and continue his education in Precision Machining and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operation. Carter would like to eventually join his father at Ford Motor Company Plant.


Rose Davila attended Hillyard Technical Center for the last 2 years studying the Health Service Assistant Program. She completed study hours through MOSAIC and Benedictine Living Community in St. Joseph, MO. She plans to enter the workforce.


Kaiden Daniels enlisted as an Infantryman in the United States Army. In preparation of his upcoming training Kaiden has attended weekly physical training this last year with the recruitment office in St. Joseph, MO.


Brynna Cashatt attended Hillyard Technical Center for the last 2 years to study Automotive Services Program. The first year Brynna and her classmates focused on Electrical Components and this year they learned the Mechanical Aspects. Brynna has accepted a job at Altec.


Kyrie Bowens has completed the Northwest Missouri State Upward Bound Program. She attended MO Girls State her Junior Year. Kyrie plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University to Major in Elementary Education.


Madison Billups has attended Hillyard Technical Center for the Health Service Assistant Program. Madison will begin work at Mosaic job as a Patient Care Assistant on the 3rd floor Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit. This fall Madison will attend Missouri Western to pursue her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse and one day go on to be a Nurse Practitioner.

Congratulations to Remie for becoming the JH 200 M dash 275 conference champion! She also earned 4th place in the 100 M Hurdles. Paisley earned 3rd place in the discuss and 5th in the shot put. Rylin placed 5th in the discus. The JH girls and boys relay teams both received 6th place in the 4 X 100 M. Kort placed 6th int he 110 M hurdles as well. Congratulations to all on a great season.
