Kindergartners did a scientific investigation with the traditional Halloween candy, Candy Corn. We used our observations skills and counting skills to answer questions.
During Fire Safety Week, our preschoolers visited the fire station to learn about fire safety, explore the fire trucks, and meet of our local fire chief.

Kindergarten ended “F” week with their Fifth grade buddies writing “F” books. What a great weekend for some Football!
Kindergarten and fifth grade had a game day working on math skills, while playing and practicing their social skills.
We will be selling tattoos tonight at the volleyball game! $1 for each.
Due to forecasted precipitation, tonight's HS Softball game vs. OSHS will now start at 4:00 PM. There will be no JV.
For tonight's Softball game in Maysville, there has been a slight change. Varsity will start at 5:00, then JH will follow. No JV or JH B innings.

Elementary STUCO had their first meeting. A couple items discussed were, ways they will teach elementary students more about homecoming week and what having school spirit is all about! They finalized their plans for a fundraiser to earn money so that teachers can purchase their Class Dojo items.
Reminder for tonight's VB games in Mound City. JH and JV will both play at 5:30 in separate gyms and V to follow. No outside drinks/food will be allowed.
On 9/24, JH and JV volleyball will start and both play at 5:30pm in Mound City in 2 gyms. Varsity will follow. Bus will leave at 3:45pm.
The Softball game tonight against Worth County has been postponed due to field conditions until Thursday. Practice 3:30-5:30 at the field today.
