The Union Star R-2 School District will be accepting bids to refinish epoxy flooring areas in the building that need to be repaired. Interested companies should contact Superintendent Rick Calloway at 816-593-2294 to set up a time to see the areas that need repair to bid on the project. Sealed bids can be mailed to 6132 NW State Route Z, Union Star, MO 64494. Bids will be read and approved on 6/18/2026 at 6:30pm.

Union Star School is looking to fill positions for next year.
Cook/Custodian Position: Union Star R-II School District is looking for a full-time cook/custodian for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for someone who can work from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Duties would be cooking meals in the morning and cleaning the building in the afternoon.
Full-Time Paraprofessional Position: Union Star R-II School District is looking for full-time classroom aide for the 2026-2027 school year. Sixty college credit hours are preferred for the position. The applicant would need to get their substitute certificate.
Bus Driver Positions: Union Star R-II School District is looking for bus drivers for the 2026-2027 school year. All potential applicants may call the school for more details.
