Junior High official fall sport practices begin Monday, August 18th as follows:

Football : 3-5pm
Softball : 3:30 to 5:30pm
Cross Country: 3:15 to 4:45pm
Volleyball : 3:15 to 5pm

Remember, physicals & annual documents are required to begin practices.

StuCo members need to meet at the school Thursday, August 14th at 9am to decorate.

The Union Star School District is accepting sealed bids for tuck pointing at the Union Star R-II School located at 6132 NW State Route Z, Union Star, MO 64494 will be received by the Superintendent until 4:00 P.M. Thursday, August 21, 2025. The bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the board meeting at 6:30PM. Bids will be received for a single lump sum contract, which will include all costs for the completed work and materials. Please include warranty and other pertinent information. Bids after 4:00pm will not be accepted.
THE PROJECT:
The job will include tuck pointing various large areas along the south side of the elementary building, removal and replacement of mortar, replacing damaged bricks, caulk, seal, polish and painting top stone, cleaning the area, and hauling away the debris.
The right is reserved of the owner to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any item of any bid unless such bid is qualified by specific limitations. Junior high softball parent meeting will be August 14th at 6:00 p.m. at the King City commons for grades 6th through 8th.

Highschool official fall sport practices begin Monday, August 11th as follows:

Football : 6:30 to 8:30pm - Player meeting Monday @ 5:30pm
Softball : 4 to 6pm
Cross Country: 3:15 to 4:45pm
Volleyball : 3 to 5 (Friday 3 to 6)
Golf : 5:30 Tuesday

JH/HS Registration will be held Thursday, August 7th beginning with Seniors at 4:30, Juniors 4:45, Sophomores 5, Freshman 5:15, 8th grade 5:30, 7th grade 5:45 and 6th grade 6pm with 6th grade orientation following.

Student Ambassador Work Day will be Tuesday, August 12th @ 10am. Students please meet in Mrs. Huffman's room.

Come show your support to our high school volleyball team Friday, August 15th from 4 to 6pm. Funds received will help with the purchase of team apparel as well as equipment for the program.

Reminder: students planning to play fall sports physicals are required prior to beginning practices. Highschool official practices begin August 11th & Junior High August 18th.
